Archaeology Merit Badge at ROMA (2014-01-12)

Archaeologists are detectives who study how people lived in the past. They figure out what happened, when, how, and why. Using the clues that people left behind, they try to understand how and why human culture has changed through time.

Tonight Eric and Henry did an awesome job taking the troop to be archaeologists at the ROMA sim (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/ROMA%20Transtiberim/27/53/28).

The scouts took turns looking for treasures and digging with various tools. All scouts came back to the camp loaded with treasures. Now they have to clear these treasures with the local museums. And the child labor laws were put on hold as the scouts dig for treasures.

It was an awesome archaeology hunt.  Congrats and thanks Eric and Henry on successfully leading the troop!

Wish I could have been there, but looks like a lot of hard work under the Italian Sun!
